About ADF
Portland & Washington’s Premier Youth Soccer Development Academy
ADF Portland | Washington is one of the Northwest’s leading youth soccer development academies, recognized for producing high-level players who advance to ODP, college soccer, MLS academies, and professional pathways. Founded in 2014 and built on the success of Futeboltraining which has developed thousands of players since 2011. ADF provides a complete pathway for athletes from recreational soccer to elite competitive environments.
Our mission is to elevate the standard of technical development in the region. ADF trains players to master the ball, improve speed of play, increase game intelligence, and build the confidence needed to compete at the highest levels. This approach has positioned ADF as a top Portland soccer academy and a respected force in the Northwest soccer community.
Competing at the Highest Levels: MLS NEXT & ECNL Competition
ADF consistently competes against MLS NEXT and ECNL clubs through competitive league play, elite tournaments, State Cup, Presidents Cup, and high-level scrimmages.
While ADF is not an MLS NEXT or ECNL program, our teams regularly play and challenge the top elite clubs in Oregon, Washington, and the broader Northwest.
This competitive exposure accelerates player growth and prepares our athletes to thrive in college recruitment, ODP selection, and professional scouting environments.
ADF currently has more youth players signed with the Portland Timbers 2 professional development pathway than any other independent academy in the region, further proving the strength of our development model.
Why ADF Produces Top Players – Our Development Philosophy
ADF’s success is rooted in the environment we create a true development-first model that prioritizes long-term growth over league labels. Players benefit from:

What We Offer
Technical Training – ADF emphasizes strong technical development from the earliest ages. Players master individual skills, improve first touch, increase speed of play, and gain the confidence needed to excel in competitive environments. For players needing additional support, our coaching staff provides individualized attention and specialized drills.
ADF Global Exchange Program – Through our ADF Global Exchange, players have the rare opportunity to train abroad with top professional clubs such as Fluminense (Brazil) and FC Porto (Portugal). These immersive training experiences expose players to elite-level coaching, faster-paced environments, and valuable cultural growth.
Team Unity & Culture – ADF is built on three pillars:
Creativity • Discipline • Respect – We teach players the importance of teamwork, accountability, and understanding their role within the group. When players believe in each other, the team becomes stronger — and success follows.
