ADF was founded in 2014 by Joaquim Capuia to give the NW soccer community a much needed academy program for youth development.
Our goal is to help players increase their technical abilities, learn to play faster, think quicker and make better decisions. Numerous players from our club have gone on to ODP, D1 College, MLS Academy and professional careers.

Technical Training
We believe technical training is the foundation for success. From a young age, we focus on building a strong skill base in our players, ensuring they develop the tools needed to excel both on and off the field.
Methodology
ADF Portland has a unique curriculum and style of play that sets us apart from other clubs. As a small club, we pride ourselves on close collaboration among our coaches to develop a program that designed to provide players with the skill sand thorough our program, they gain a deep understanding of the game and the tools to adapt and thrive on the field.

At ADF Portland, we instill in our players the understanding that winning is earned through effort, discipline, and a commitment to growth. By putting in the work, both on and off the field, our players develop the mindset and skills needed to achieve their goals and embrace the journey towards success.

League Play
ADF provides players the opportunity to compete in the Oregon Youth Soccer Association (OYSA) and the Olympic Development Program (ODP) from ages 6 to 19. Our teams typically compete in the Gold and Silver Divisions. Additionally, we are affiliated with International Portland Select, our men's Semi-professional team, which offers players invaluable experience and exposure in the UPSL and GPSD adult leagues. This connection helps prepare them for the next level, whether it's collegiate or professional play.
College Preperation
We believe that education is the key to unlocking opportunites for all our players. We emphasize the importance of academics, encouraging each player to take their education seriulsly, as it serves as a foundation for their future success both on and off the field. Our mission is to support and guide our players in balancing their studies with their passion for soccer, ensuring they have the tools to excel in school while pursuing their athletic goals. By fostering this mindset, we aim to empower our players to achieved their dreams and open door to endless possibilities. Many of our alumni are currently attending universities and colleges across the country and state.

Development AcademyBoys and Girls Youth Program | 6-10Age | 2Locations | ADF’s Development academy is the begging of the players journey. This program is designed for players 6-10 years of age. | Read More |
JUNIORS AcademyBoys and Girls Youth Program | 10-14Age | 2Locations | Our U11 – U14 program is a highly competitive boys program that runs the full year (ending in May). The program consists of training 2 – 3 times a week, summer tournaments, fall league, optional winter program and spring league, state cup or Presidents Cup. All ADF teams will compete in the Oregon Youth Soccer Association (OYSA) leagues and Washington Youth Association. | Read More |
SENIOR AcademyCompetitive Program | 15-19Age | 2Locations | Our U15 – U19 program is a highly competitive boys program. This is the final chapter of the players career, players begin to develop for the next stage of their development. Whether it is at the collegiate level or professional level.
